Welcome to the blog of a 17yearoldgirl, where she posts her mindless musings and ramifications.
This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.
She lives.
"We can catch buses and count our change and cross the roads and talk real sentences.
but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."
B&J Chunk Fest

Yesterday I went to the Ben & Jerry's Chunk Festival with Adeline and Melly just for fun. However, it was not so fun after all since we had decided to stand for more than 1hour in the mud that keeps oozing into our feet. And I got my new shoes from Charles and Keith dirty and now I'm trying desperately to clean it ))):

But apart from that, we managed to eat some of the exclusive flavours from USA. Melly had Vanilla Chocolate Chunk, Addie had that too and I had Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Vanilla Chocolate Chunk wasn't that great, because the chocolate was just broken pieces of hard chocolate, which you get tired of after a while. But I thought the Chocolate Fudge Brownie was great due to the soft chewy fudge brownie bits inside. After all, what makes Ben and Jerry's so famous is all the heavy ingredients they put in their ice cream after all. But I still think their ice cream texture is so-so as compared to the rich, creamy taste of Island Creamery. I'm still sore over why Island Creamery don't try to expland and set up more branches, because their ice cream is simply great. Besides, Island Creamery makes their own ice cream and desserts everyday, so everything there is fresh, homemade on the day you buy it (unless of course, you buy back pints of ice cream to take home). Island Creamery has one main branch at Serene Center and one at Great World City and that's about it. No matter what, I still think Island Creamery is the best ice cream I've ever tasted, even better than Haagen-Daaz.

Thanks to the mud at the chunk fest, we just grabbed our ice cream and went home and did not manage to enjoy the other fringe activites which included tarot card reading, crystal ball reading, caricaturists and body painting :/ Oh well.
Melly got sick in the middle of queuing as well and she didn't even finish her ice cream properly ): [to melly: i'll treat you to island creamery next time!]

Anyway, my maternal grandparents are finally going to come to Singapore after all and I can't wait. I probably mentioned it dozens of times, but I'm so glad they're coming cos they'll definitely help in improving the condition of my family now. I'm so SICK of my mum lately, literally. She just locks herself up in her own watching tv dramas on her computer all day and when she comes out, all she knows is to yell at people and treat me like shit and scold me over nothing. Whatever, she's such a bitch now I shall just ignore her. I hate it when she does this to people. Sure, she doesn't mean it, she'll probably forget about the incident but does she realise the damage that she inflicted on others? If she's pissed, then just don't come out her frigging room at all and stay locked up in there all day.

Sigh. I need some Island Creamery to cheer me up. I should buy dark chocolate later, it's my medicine.
