Welcome to the blog of a 17yearoldgirl, where she posts her mindless musings and ramifications.
This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.
She lives.
"We can catch buses and count our change and cross the roads and talk real sentences.
but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."

Yesterday, Jingjing came to my house to bake and we made BANANA APRICOT RAISIN CUPCAKE and jelly hearts <3

The fruit of our labour!

Thin layer of strawberry jam spread on the top of the cupcake with crunchy white frosties :3

This was the first time I made jellyhearts. Jingjing didn't read the instructions for the agar properly the first time and she just poured the agar mixture onto the strawberries without boiling it! And after 1 hour, the agar still didn't set =.= And then I went to read the instructions on the packet again and then I chided jing for not boiling it first. Tsk. I find that the agar is slightly too hard for my liking, I think it would be better if we used JELLY powder instead of agar powder. And the colouring of the agar is too red for my preference, and I can't even see the strawberries instead properly (which I had carefully cut into heart shapes). But the cream cheese and biscuit layer is especially delicious and addictive!

If you remember my post for Candypulp's Christmas Giveaway here, I think you'd be delighted to know that I'm listed as top 20 entries, which means that I'll be getting free goodies from Candypulp! YAY :D

Have a Merry Christmas everyone! I'll be out shopping with Melly later :D
