This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.

but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."

Yesterday, I baked again before I went to the airport to fetch my grandparents. Haha yup, I know, I bake very often nowadays. I wouldn't call yesterday's batch of PAPAYA GLAZED CUPCAKES a huge success because they didn't rise up beautifully like the previous cupcakes I've baked, some of the cupcakes' bottoms were charred, and also the thick papaya icing that I made tasted a little way too sweet ): But overall, I would say the texture of the cupcake is still great and YUMMY! Jing's coming over to bake soon too and we'd be making Banana Apricot Raisin Cupcake. Haha.

Ew. They don't look too nice here )):
Anyway, yesterday the Changi Airport was a huge mess of people, luggage and noise. It was so chaotic and squeezy that I almost didn't recognize it as the nice big spacey Changi Airport that I know. The experience was horrible. Outside the arrival hall, there were this huge mass of people and inside the hall, the poor passengers of different flights had to share their baggage belts. They had assigned around 2-3 different flights per belt, one after the other. I stood there and waited for more than 1 hour before I spotted my grandparents ALREADY OUTSIDE the arrival hall because they were being taken care of by the Changi staff who had wheeled them out from the plane.
The humongous crowd at T1 of Changi Airport. And this was just my right side! You can imagine what the left side looks like...
Anyway, my grandparents are still as strong and healthy as ever. Haha. And my grandmother is super energetic even though she has some leg problems. Once she saw me, she grabbed my hand and started talking in that loud voice of hers and she did not stop at all in the 45mins ride home. I swear my grandmother has this very contagious energy and she can make friends in minutes wherever she goes. Like hello, she knew pratically the life story of the lady who sat next to her on the plane ride over here. My grandmother told me that her "committee" back in China would miss her and her acting in the play (小品) and she said she will continue revising her english here and be a good student for her english teacher xD And my grandfather does not have much health problems and he still insists on waking up early to go down to exercise (even though last night they slept at 12+ am). Haha. Having them here make me so SO happy. And I finally managed to eat a good lunch after so long.

Now, finally, I'm feeling the Christmas mood.
