Une fille comme moi
Je t'aime plus que hier, moins que demain ♥
Welcome to the blog of a 17yearoldgirl, where she posts her mindless musings and ramifications.
This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.
She lives.
"We can catch buses and count our change and cross the roads and talk real sentences.
but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."
Back to school!

The first event of the day confirmed my suspicions about lectures being boring! I was trying to seat still and not look at the clock during the entire duration of the ISYF (International Science Youth Forum) today. The speeches followed by speeches bored me out completely and even though the physics Nobel laureate was more interesting than the rest, he lost me as he droned on. The ISYF opening ceremony ended around 1 hour earlier than the scheduled time and we had to walk around the JC campus aimlessly, waiting till 1140 to the Principal's briefing.

It was extremely funny to watch the guys rebelling against the discipline master, however. Apparently, Minister Shanmugaratnam (minister of finance)'s son, Akilan, was blowing bubblegum bubbles in the audi and he had to be called down to the discipline master who was yelling at the guys. And all the guys were clapping and cheering for him, which was so damn funny. I didn't expect hci guys to be so rowdy! The stereotypes always described hci guys as nerdy, geeky, guaiguai and tooty xD So it was interesting to see the way the guys behave during the entire briefing. After the briefing, it was math lecture, followed by chem lecture.

I seriously love Ms Wong Huiming, who gave the chem lecture! She is so cute and funny and interesting and lame, but I really had fun during the entire length of her lecture! I hope she'll be teaching me in the future! And anyway, the jc canteen food is not all that bad as compared to nanyang's food, only that the mixed veg store is so lousy as compared to the nanyang mixed veg store! Warning though, the prices have gone up around 50cents to a dollar more, so I guess it's still more worth it to go to the high school side to eat. First day of school was gone through quite smoothly only that as Ms Wong said: the audi is not nice, the chairs are so hard, the guys are so quiet and keeping to themselves and life gets sad after a while.

But I'm starting to like school and I'm still looking forward to the next day :D After all, it IS a nice change from seating at home and doing nothing all day long.
