Une fille comme moi
Je t'aime plus que hier, moins que demain ♥
Welcome to the blog of a 17yearoldgirl, where she posts her mindless musings and ramifications.
This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.
She lives.
"We can catch buses and count our change and cross the roads and talk real sentences.
but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."
Happy (belated) New Year!
Saturday, January 03, 2009, 12:55 PM
Sorry I'm so slow in blogging about my new year. I swear next year I'm not ever going to my mum's annual D&D again, they just get more and more boring year by year. Next year, I would drag my friends to a proper countdown. Photos of the D&D coming up in a bit!

The first day of Jan09 was spent at Jurong Point dining out at DIN TAI FENG with my family. Jurong Point has now turned into every shoppaholic's dream - There are a great number of apparel shops on the first and second floors, good food in the basement, as well as a lot of gift shops selling interesting stuff and 2 korean stationery stores! :D I finally got the chance to get my beautiful 2009 planner ^_^
The insides of this planner are filled with tiny photos of Parisian streets and quirky parisian stores like the boulangerie!

Speaking of which, I'm starting to find my grandparents really annoying now. They love to hover around me, pushing into my space, asking me about every single stupid detail that is absolutely none of their business and at the start, they keep on calling me for no big reason. I say at the start because ever since my attitude to them turned frostier, I guess they took the hint and stopped being so nosy. They really get on my nerves sometimes and I can't help but snap at them and straining the already strained relationship with me and my mum. Stupid. I just hope that everyone leave me alone now for some peace and quiet. I would pick friends over family any day. The people in my family are unable to understand me or converse with me in any way that would make me laugh, because they are in a different wavelength entirely. They simply provide me with my physical needs, not my emotional and mental ones. Good friends, on the other hand, always make me feel good about myself and always cheer me up whenever I'm down. I can't wait to move out when I turn 18.

Anyway, some MUD CUPCAKES to usher in the new year! It was supposed to be a non flour recipe, but then the batter was so watery that I had to add quite a lot of flour to compensate for my lack of butter. The result, rich chocolatety cupcake with a slightly fudge-like consistency. Actually I had these baked before 31st dec, but didn't have the chance to post them up.
