Une fille comme moi
Je t'aime plus que hier, moins que demain ♥
Welcome to the blog of a 17yearoldgirl, where she posts her mindless musings and ramifications.
This is extremely private;
cos this is where she dreams, sleeps and cries.
She lives.
"We can catch buses and count our change and cross the roads and talk real sentences.
but our innocence goes awfully deep,
and our discreditable secret is that we don’t know anything at all,
and our horrid inner secret is that
we don’t care that we don’t."
Time flies

I have so much to say I don't know where to start. I regretted not blogging about CNY sooner. Perhaps things are better said through photos.
On 除夕 (cny eve)
Me and my parents went to Far East Flora and bought two new year plants! I made sure that both of them are going to flower all year round before we purchased them. I still think plants that flower are so much more prettier. The above is one of the plants that we bought.

My family's sumptious lunch consisting Beijing 烤鸭 (ate the Beijing style with fresh cucumber, spring onion and sauce all wrapped in a thin "pancake") , a cold dish, roast beef and many other veggie dishes (:

I went over to my friend's(liyin) house in the afternoon and there were 5 other girls that I knew there (: We went out to Bugis before coming back at night to watch CCTV春节联欢晚会, it's like something we always do every cny. Sleepover at her house.

On 初一
I went to another friend(weihui)'s house together with Liyin again and there were a lot of kids there as well. Had fun outside at her local Npark where they had this trampoline and then we played mahjong till late and I slept over at her house too.

The rest of the CNY was wasted away at home slacking xD I'm very proud of the sum of my ang pao money this year! I think this is one of the biggest sums I've ever received ($_$) I think I got more than $300.
Thursday - Bagpack buddies - we're so cute :3
Me, Shiing and Melly bought these bags in Ho Chi Minh (vietnam) at very affordable prices. Aren't the prints adorable?

See how happy we're grinning!
Today I went out to celebrate my primary school friend's(sinlin) belated birthday! It was me, sheena, bel, sinlin, wang chi, ben, jieqiang at kbox and we were then joined by zhengwei and wenyang (: It was organised by ben and we went out to kbox to celebrate. As it was my first time going to kbox, I had quite a lot of fun singing both english and chinese songs and I'll have to say that although kbox's range of new english songs is pathetic, but they do have some nice ones that I like from Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Pink and the like. But the down side is almost 60% of their song collection are super old songs from the 1980's onwards.
Anyway, it was a surprise party and sinlin was so touched and surprised to see her primary sch friends again that she cried! AWWWWWW. We had a crazy time singing and teasing each other at kbox before we decided to go bowling! But all the lanes at the bowling place were all full thanks to ACS(I) booking half of the lanes. So the guys played pool and then we went to the arcade. Besides Jieqiang and Ben that really knows how to play, the rest of them don't. Jieqiang is really good at it >.<

No offence, but why is it that people in NY (or maybe it's just ppl in my class) hardly asks their friends out just for a get together one day for fun? Are we normally too busy mugging? But during the holidays, my friends are not those type that will always call to ask a bunch of people out either :/ I have some friends from other schools like Nanhua and she'll always get asked out on weekends for shopping, bday celebration, movie watching and the like. I wonder if this will change when I start my school life in HC proper. Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to orientation on monday! :D

Good luck meeting new friends. I hope I will get into a class as lovely as 402 and I hope that everyone will be happy with their new friends but still keep in close contact with their old ones.
